Under his leadership, the company became a Top 30 Furniture Retailer in the USA for 20 consecutive years, expanding from a single store in 1975 to 36 stores across the Southeast by 2005.

Hendricks was known for his Boyles Furniture, Thomasville Furniture and Drexel Heritage showrooms, which brought North Carolina craftsmanship to new markets. His dedication to the finest built furniture led to the founding of HENDRICKS, a company that continually strives for greatness by pushing the bounderies in furniture manufacturing.
