For three generations, the Hendricks family has embodied a deep passion for furniture and an unwavering love for the craft. Our journey began with a single furniture store in Mocksville NC, established by Larry Hendricks' father, Clyde Hendricks, in 1950.

Building on this legacy, Larry Hendricks founded the Country Shop in 1975, which evolved into the renowned Boyles Furniture, expanding to a prestigious network of 34 retail locations and 1,500 employees.

Today, husband and wife, Alex and Lee Hendricks, who founded the company together, lead the transition from retail to manufacturing, with a mission to create the finest custom furniture in the world from their Hickory, NC workshop.
