Legacy of Excellence
For three generations, the Hendricks family has embodied a deep passion for furniture and an unwavering love for the craft. Our journey began with a single furniture store in Mocksville NC, established by Larry Hendricks' father, Clyde Hendricks, in 1950.
Building on this legacy, Larry Hendricks founded the Country Shop in 1975, which evolved into the renowned Boyles Furniture, expanding to a prestigious network of 29 retail locations and 1,500 employees.
Today, the next generation of the Hendricks family proudly continues this legacy by transitioning from retail to manufacturing, with a mission to create the finest furniture in the world.

Larry Hendricks dedicated over 5 decades as the Founder and CEO of Hendricks Furniture Group. Under his visionary leadership, the company expanded from a single store in 1975 to 29 stores across the Southeast by 2005.
He is renowned as one of the original owners of Hancock & Moore and for his once prominent collection of high-end retail stores, such as Boyles Furniture, Thomasville Furniture, Drexel Heritage, and Norris Furniture showrooms, which introduced the unparalleled craftsmanship of North Carolina to new markets.
